Science Primary School, Kuje, and Junior Secondary School, Kuje, have won first position each in the primary and secondary categories respectively in the eight edition of the annual Junior Engineers Technical and Scientist (JETS) competitions respectively.
In the private schools category, Shining Star Primary School, Kubwa, and HSOS Secondary School, Gwagwalada, won first position each in the primary and secondary categories respectively.
The event was held at Junior Secondary School, Hajj Camp, Gwagwalada, in Abuja, at the weekend.
Director, Universal Basic Education Board, Dr. Adamu Jatau Noma, represented by the HOD Finance and Accounts, Malam Muhammad Sabo, said the competition would inspire the interest of students towards science and technology related subjects.
