The Kwankwasiyya movement has unveiled a new campaign-themed song titled “Falle Daya” a Hausa phrase meaning “one term” in what appears to be a veiled jab at the Kano State Governor.

The song, produced and performed by Kano-based artiste Tijjani Gandu, was formally introduced during the movement’s annual ‘kalankuwa’ gathering held at the residence of its leader, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, in Kano.

The event drew a large crowd of loyalists clad in the movement’s signature red caps and attires, with chants, music, and symbolic displays dominating the atmosphere. Observers noted that many female supporters showcased a yard of fabric, interpreted by insiders as a subtle signal reinforcing the “one-term” message aimed at the current administration.

In the song’s lyrics, the phrase “Falle daya In Sha Allahu” (one term, God willing) is repeatedly echoed, blending political messaging with a prayer-like tone. The chorus was enthusiastically adopted by supporters at the gathering, who sang along and waved banners in solidarity.
