The beneficiaries are students on scholarship from the state studying at the university.
They made their request through their association to the representative of Kano State to the university last year and the governor pledged to provide them the facility.
Presenting the laptops, Crescent Vice Chancellor, Professor Hassan Kehinde Okeleye urged the students to use the computers for their studies rather than nefarious activities or mere social media.
Okeleye also expressed gratitude on behalf of the proprietor, Judge Bola Ajibola, and the entire management of the university, to Dr Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso for the gesture to Kano indigenes studying in the university.
Prof. Okeleye stressed that students, especially those in Architecture, Accounting and ICT would find the computers invaluable as they have been installed with packages such as Peachtree and Autocad.
