Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano state cast his vote 38 minutes before the scheduled time for the exercise.
Our correspondent reports that the governor voted at about 12.22pm at polling unit 005 in Kwankwaso of Madobi local government area of the state.
When contacted, his media aide, Mallam Halilu Ibrahim Dantiye faulted the report, saying the governor has not voted.
