Honourable Abdulmumini Jibrin Kofa, member representing Kiru/Bebeji constituency of Kano State at the House of Reps, says only Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso can decide his political future.
Kofa stated this while granting an interview to DW after his visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The lawmaker visited the president at the presidential Villa on Wednesday.
However, there were speculations that talks between the president and the leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement were ongoing.

But Jibrin said, “My visit to president Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not surprising. Everyone knows my relationship with the president. And people know the relationship between Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our leader, Rabiu Musa kwankwaso. Both are political bigwigs.
“I am not in the position to comment on the reports saying Kwankwaso is joining the APC. Only Kwankwaso can decide on this. And it is also an issue related to the president. I am too young to reconcile the two big men. But if it comes to that; reconciliation is a positive thing.
“I am not a hypocrite. If there was anything from Kwankwaso, I was supposed to tell the president, I will do that. However, if there was anything the president wanted me to tell Kwankwaso, I would do that. That is not a problem.”
