The Kwara State Government has confirmed the receipt of 12,058 bags of assorted grains from the federal government to be distributed to residents to help them cope with the inconveniences that resulted from the removal of fuel subsidy.
In a statement, the Commissioner for Communications, Mrs Bola Olukoju, who disclosed that the grains included maize, millet and sorghum, said the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, would flag off the distribution in the state very soon, noting that the distribution would follow a template sent by the federal government.
