Peter pleaded guilty to the charge and told the court he could not remember the exact number of chickens they stole.
Ochi on his part, said he was innocent and didn’t use to go with him (Peter) to steal the chickens. He, however, admitted that they used to eat them together after any successful operation by Peter.
The Magistrate, Moshood Ajibade, ordered Peter to be remanded at a correctional centre and admitted Ochi to bail of N300,000 with two sureties and adjourned to July 5.
