The 2021 Federation of Public Service Games (FEPSGA Games 2021) will hold in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital from November 28- December 5.
Over 10,000 Public Servants are to converge at the Ilorin Township Stadium to compete in 10 events at the week-long sporting fiesta.
This was made known by the president of FEPSGA, Comrade Aloku Amaebi, when he paid a courtesy call on the State Head of Service, Mrs. Susan Modupe Oluwole.
He explained that Kwara State was given the hosting right because of its noticeable peaceful environment and its fore-front role in the promotion of Sports.
He added that the State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, would declare the game open while the Head of Civil Service of the Federation would also be in attendance amongst other important dignitaries.
He, therefore, solicited for the support and backing of the State government to ensure a successful hosting of the event.
The Head of Service in her remarks applauded the federation for choosing Kwara State for the competition.
She reiterated the commitment of the State Government to the promotion of sporting activities amongst its citizens, particularly Public Servants as it enhances their mental alertness and also boosts their efficiency.
Mrs. Oluwole assured that all would be done to ensure a memorable event.
