Kwara to raise N10bn from philanthropists, private sector for education

Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has inaugurated members of the Education Trust Fund Board, which he said will play a key role in helping to solidify educational transformation in the state.

This is just as the chairman of the board, Mallam Abdulhakeem Uthman Mustapha (SAN), said they look forward to raising N10 billion from stakeholders, especially private sector players and philanthropists to support education infrastructure across the state.

The governor in his remark during the inauguration held weekend, described the move as another strategic step to enable sustainable development in our state.

“This represents another phase in Kwara’s journey. Our investment in education has created rapid improvements among the students”.
