Kwara workers want payment of arrears, promotion

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Kwara State chapter, on Sunday in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, appealed to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to approve the financial implementation of the 2018 promotion exercise and payment of salary arrears for workers.

The union, in a statement by its Chairman, Comrade Aliyu Issa Ore, further seeks for the decentralisation of payment of staff salary and 10% approved Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS) for health staff in the 16 local government areas in the state as being implemented since 2018.
