Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Abdulrosheed Na’Allah, told newsmen that the energy company would develop, produce and distribute locally made solar system facilities as a replacement of the foreign ones.
The vice chancellor said this will go a long way in improving power supply in the state.
He said the institution’s focus was to be the pioneer of remarkable feats in the country. He also said that the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering of the institution will continue to collaborate with the International Aviation College, Ilorin, to make the nation’s airspace safer.
“At the Kwara State University, Malete, we are training our students in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering to become future pilots and engineers. We expose them to training, practical and theoretical aspects of the profession,” he said.
