Labour pickets newspaper company, others over unfair labour practices

The Industrial  Global Union in conjunction with the Nigeria  Labour Congress (NLC) weekend picketed Daily Independent Newspapers, Jagal Pharmaceutical Limited and Royal Sack Limited over unfair labour practices in the companies.
‎The Deputy General Secretary, National Union of Textiles, Garment and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria (NUTGTWN), Comrade Ismail Bello, who led the protest,said labour unions in the country would not rest on their oars to free the workforce from unfair labour practices perpetrated by employers.
He called on the federal government to provide protection for working people and also inspect the day to day health of the workers.
