Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA) has called on the members of Nasarawa State Youth Empowerment Scheme (NAYES) working across the state to redouble efforts towards helping security agents to tackle crime and enhance other social services.
The house also commended the management of the agency for living up to expectations in the area of assisting the security agencies, ensuring environmental cleanliness, traffic order, among others.
It added that the assembly and, by extension, government and the people were happy with the manner in which the agency worked tirelessly to ensure the endSARS protest was not staged in the state, saying that has contributed immensely in sustaining peace.
The assembly is considering the amendment of the law establishing the agency to address the challenges of funding.
