The Governing Council of the Federal University Lafia, chaired by Emeritus Professor Munzali Jibril, has commended the management of the institution for the multiple achievements it has recorded.
The council noted the transparent and judicious handling of resources by the management team in securing accreditation for eight programmes and successful implementation of many physical development projects on the university campus.
Jibril commended the management, led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Muhammadu Sanusi Liman, for the timely construction of roads, lecture halls, laboratories and introduction of new programmes such as medicine, engineering and management sciences, saying that the period it took the management to achieve these developments was remarkable.
The council observed that these achievements would not have been possible without the personal effort of the vice-chancellor and commended him for his “personal commitment, prudence and the sheer determination to succeed.”
The chairman of the council urged the management team to continue with the good work it started with a view to hastening the overall development of the university.
