Lagooz Montessori School, Agege has emerged the 2016 best primary school in Lagos.
At the award ceremony held at Oregun, Lagos, the organizers,Prestige Nigeria Education Award, said Lagooz won the maiden edition award because of the edge it has in all rating categories considered by the panel of judges.
Expressing her delight, Lagooz Montessori Head Teacher, Mrs. Ibiyemi Adeoti appreciated God, school proprietor, parents, teachers and
pupils,adding that the award was a manifestation of all stakeholders’ commitment to the school’s survival and progress.
The award which was presented at the maiden edition was to acknowledge and recognized the quota of the school to Nigeria’ educational sector.
“I want to first and foremost thank God Almighty as well as my proprietor, Otunba Yomi Otubela because he has been very supportive of
our growth as a leading primary school in Lagos. This award is also dedicated to teachers, parents, the pupils and every other person who have contributed in one way or other to achieving this feat.
“At Lagooz, we place premium emphasis on quality education and this award is an attestation to that. Before this event, the Ministry of Education visited our school for a three- day inspection and I can say
they were satisfied with all they saw,” Adeoti said.
