Mr Lanre Razak, a chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) has promised to deliver wards and polling units in Epe area of Lagos State for Mr Babajide Sanwoolu, the party’s governorship candidate in the March 9 election.
Razak, who is also the Balogun General of Epeland, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Epe, on Thursday.
He said that there was no atom of doubts in the victory of his party’s governorship candidate in the coming election.
“We have delivered for presidential, senatorial and House of Representatives elections in Lagos and beyond.
“We will restrategise and ensure winning for our governorships and House of Assembly candidates in Lagos and other parts of the country in this forthcoming general elections,’’ he said.
Razak expressed strong belief in the mandate of Babajide Sanwoolu, and stressed that the APC gubernatorial candidate would fulfill also his campaign promises to Lagos people.
“Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu laid the foundation for good governance in Lagos State in 1999.
“And since then, we have been putting responsible, reliable and effective people in governance.
“Lagos State has continued to develop. And that is why we are proud of Tinubu.
“And that is why we are also happy that he is solidly behind Sanwoolu and its aspiration to give lagosians dividends of democracy,” he said.
He urged Sanwoolu to ensure that the master plan of Lagos State for Epe Division was implemented if elected.
He added that all uncompleted projects in Epe Division, including roads, free trade zone, housing projects and other infrastructure development should be completed during his administration, if elected.
Razak also expressed his appreciation to Nigerians for voting en mass for Buhari’s victory.
“Buhari victory is really a thing of joy and the best decision for Nigerians.
“I use this medium to congratulate Buhari for his victory and urge him to continue to give Nigeria and Nigerians good governance,’’ he said. (NAN).
