The newly-inaugurated members of the Lagos State governor’s cabinet are being hosted to a capacity-building retreat to prepare them for the tasks ahead.

According to a release yesterday from the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Gboyega Akosile, the four-day retreat was organised for Commissioners, Special Advisers and Permanent Secretaries to enable them key into the policy thrust of building a greater Lagos, in line with the six pillars of Development (T.H.E.M.E.S) of the Sanwo-Olu administration.

The retreat was also organised with the aim of equipping some of the cabinet members with public service background, as well as with the rules and knowledge of public office.

The retreat is expected to end on Saturday when Gov Sanwo-Olu would deliver the closing remarks.
