Public schools in Lagos State have recorded 79 per cent pass in the 2021 West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE), the Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folashade Adefisayo, has disclosed.

Mrs Adefisayo made revealed this at the commissioning and handing over ceremony of a renovated block of four classrooms, a library and a borehole at the Lafiaji Senior High School, Lagos Island, by the Rotary Club of Lagos.

According to her, the latest performance recorded beats that of the previous year with 39 per cent pass recorded in subjects, including mathematics and English; showing a difference of 40 per cent.
