The Lakowe Lakes Golf and Country Estate in Lagos will host the fifth edition of the Emerald Invitational, tagged Escape to the Greens, from September 26 to 28.
According to the organisers, the three-day experience will blend golf, leisure, and entertainment within the 308-hectare estate, which boasts 14 lakes and an 18-hole championship course. Both golfers and non-golfers are expected for what they described as “a weekend of luxury and culture.”
Highlights include the Verse and Vibes Night, Poolside Pulse Party, and Owambe Royale Emerald Gala, headlined by singer Johnny Drille and hosted by media personality Kie Kie.
Entertainment will also feature DJ Nana, Folagade Banks, Layi Wasabi, IBQUAKE, OB Nelson, the Serenade Jazz Band, and Lilian Yeri Dance World.
The Lakowe Lakes Golf Classic will headline the sporting side of the weekend, attracting professional golfers from across West Africa, while amateurs will also have the chance to compete.
Accommodation packages range from ₦1.295m for studio cottages to ₦5.225m for four-bedroom apartments, inclusive of two nights’ stay, meals, premium drinks, and activities such as pontoon boat rides, sip-and-paint, pottery, archery, and tennis. Day passes will also be available. Early-bird tickets for selected activities start from ₦75,000 to ₦225,000.
The annual Lakowe Lakes Golf Classic will also return as part of the festivities, drawing professional players from across West Africa.
The organisers have also invited amateur golfers to participate as well, making the tournament inclusive for players of all levels.
