A Toyota Land cruiser Jeep has been reportedly snatched at gunpoint around Lokogoma area of Abuja.
Our reporter reliably gathered that the incident happened around 5:12pm, on Saturday.
It was learnt that the vehicle with a private number plate marked (IPINU 1) Abuja, belong to Prince Tony Idikwu, Accord Party (AP) House of Representatives candidate for Oju/Obi federal constituency of Abia state for 2027 general election Prince Tony Idikwu.
It was gathered that the vehicle was been test -driven by a motor mechanic after repair along Lokogoma area when some unknown persons flagged down the mechanic and zoomed off with the jeep.
Daily Trust further learnt that the politician, who is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AID Global Resources Limited is widely known for his humanitarian gesture to his community in Abia state.
When contacted, the spokeperson for the FCT police command, SP Adeh Josephine, said such incident was not reported to the police.
She, therefore, advised the victim to come forward or go to any of the nearest police station to report the incident.
