A landlord, Alhaji Abbas Abdulrahim, on Monday asked an Upper Customary Court in Kaduna State to help him recover his house from a tenant, Lawal Saleh.
The complainant’s lawyer, Mrs. Kehinde Oyeniran, also requested the court to help her client recover nine months’ rent arrears totaling N325,000.
“We want the defendant to vacate the premises at No. 20, Nuhu Bamalli Close off Governor Road,” she said.
The defendant, however, was not in court after being served with a substituted service.

The Judge, Mrs. Patience Musa, adjourned the matter until October 2 for a hearing. (NAN)
