There ‎was a case of late arrival of electoral materials and failure of card reader in Karamnawa Bare ward (011) in Baure local government in Katsina state.

The INEC officials arrived the polling unit around 9:41am even though the registered voters queued up at the venue as early as 6am.

But even when the officials ‎arrived, the accreditation of voters couldn’t start because of failure of card readers.

Daily Trust observed that only two people been accredited by the card reader at the time of filing this report.

INEC officials had to take back the card reader to the local government headquarters.
