The Emir of Karaye, Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar II, has turbaned Alhaji Idris Muhammad Adamu Dankabo as Jarman Karaye and District Head of Kabo.

The district head is a son of late Jarman Kano and also an international business mogul, Alhaji Adamu Dankabo.

He was turbaned alongside six other title holders in the emirate.

Others turbaned are Alhaji Hamza Abdulmumini as Magajin Malam of Karaye; Alhaji Sani Abubakar as Sa’i; Kamal Datti Umar as Yarima and Ibrahim Muhammad Sabo as Baura of Karaye.

Speaking at the occasion, the emir said they were conferred with the titles taking into consideration their vast contribution to the development of the emirate as well as their contribution towards the development of the society.

He urged them to be good representatives of their people and also endeavour to discharge their responsibilities with justice, honesty and dedication to the development of Karaye Emirate and Kano State in general.
