Life is turning into a nightmare for a 34-year-old fashion designer,Lateefat Bashiru. Her dream of becoming great fashion designer is diminishing rapidly as she is currently battling with a deformity in her hip called Signature Hip Prothesis (THR).
Bashiru,  a mother of two, is seeking relief at the Igbobi Orthopedic Hospital, Lagos, where she is to undergo a N1m surgery.
A copy of her medical report signed by Dr. Taiwo Afolajuwonlo, a Consultant Orthopedist with the National Orthopedic Hospital, Igbobi, shows that she has been undergoing medical dialysis in the hospital.
Speaking with  our correspondent, the 34-year-old  Bashiru appealed for assistance from good spirited Nigerians and corporate organizations to help her raise the funds.
According to her, the genesis  of her problem started in 2014 when she had a ghastly auto accident.
She said, “I had a ghastly motor accident  that made me unconscious for several days. I was later taken to Igbobi Orthopedic Hospital where it was discovered that I had a problem with my hip and I was advised, by the doctor, to undergo surgery which will cost N1,000,000, but due to lack of money I have  been unable to undergo the surgery.  Is and my husband have spent all our savings on dialysis.”
