The platform will also include a membership portal for all alumni of the school to register as members. The Law School has graduated over 100,000 lawyers since inception in 1963.  This project is in support of the Nigerian Law School’s quest to improve the quality of lawyers graduated into the profession each year.
 Chairman of the 89 Class, Barrister Emeka Albert disclosed this over the weekend at the headquarters of the Nigerian Law School (NLS) in Bwari, Abuja as part of activities marking the 25th Call to Bar anniversary of the class. He said the offer, if accepted by the NLS, will take Bar practical training to another level and put an end to the era of lawyers passing out into the profession with much ignorance and lack of confidence.
The e-mentoring platform would enable the legal experts and students to interact as the experts upload content in video, audio and text format for the students to remotely access/download at their convenience. Apart from the e-learning mentoring platform, the 89 set also unveiled an alumni membership platform with an e-donation module wherein old students of the NLS could make donations directly to the school to support its numerous programmes.
Guest lecturer at the event, Mr. George Etomi, while delivering  the anniversary lecture titled “The Future of Legal Practice in the 21st Century: Practice Models in a Globalised Regime”, lamented the quality of lawyers that graduate yearly into legal practice and called for concerted effort towards improvement.
