Malam Mustapha Rabe, a lawmaker at the Katsina State House of Assembly has donated N1.5 million for the construction of Mosque in Muludu Village in his constituency.
Presenting the money on Thursday, Rabe (APC-Maiadua) said the gesture was aimed at fulfilling his election campaign promises.
“My desire is to bring communities together and people of different faith and backgrounds to join hands in building peace and unity.
“As Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him said, “whoever builds a house for Allah, Allah will build for him likewise in paradise,’’ he said.
He urged his constituents to maintain peace and to maintain good hygiene by washing their hands thoroughly with soap and water, maintain social distance and use tissue or elbow when coughing or sneezing.
The lawmaker also shared N5, 000 to 100 less privileged people to improve their small scale business in his constituency. (NAN)
