Lawmaker donates patrol vehicle, empowerment kits to constituency

A member of the House of Representatives, from Gombe State, Aishatu Jibril Dukku, has donated six operational vehicles to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and Vigilante Groups in Nafada and Dukku LGAs of Gombe State to enhance security in the area.
She said four Nissan frontier patrol vehicles were for the NSCDC offices in the two LGAs, while one Sharon Galaxy each is for the local vigilante groups also in Dukku and Nafada.
The lawmaker, who is representing Dukku/Nafada Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, also distributed various empowerment items to the constituents in Dukku and Nafada LGA of the state as part of her constituency project.

The items donated include 100 motorcycles, 30 deep freezers, 31 power generators, 200 sewing machines, 21 grinding machines, 100 pots, 100 hospital bedsheets and 50 wheelchairs.
According to her, she is also executing the construction of rural access roads, enhancement of power generation through the supply of transformers and provision of solar light for Tsangaya/Almajiri schools among other projects.
Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, represented by the Chief of Staff, Abubakar Inuwa Kari, commended the legislator for the laudable intervention and called on other members of the party at various levels to emulate her.
