He said the appointment came when Katsina people were thinking of being marginalised by the federal government and not duly represented at the federal character principles.
He said Katsina people are the worst hit in appointments in recent times at the federal level which has made unemployment on the high side among the people and urge the federal government to confirm the appointment of Dr.Daura as the substantive Director-General of NITDA to reflect on the federal character principles.
He said Daura has performed creditably in the various positions he occupied in NITDA and need not to be disappointed by substituting him at the end of the day, adding that Daura’s towering experience on ICT development within NITDA alone, spanning over 10 years will give him the opportunity to utilise his wealth of experience to the agency and the country.
