Ismail Hudu Bala, member representing Kantana Constituency in Plateau State House of Assembly, has offered scholarships to about 70 college and university students.

The lawmaker said the scholarship was offered to encourage students and promote education in his constituents.

Commenting during the presentation of the scholarship, the lawmaker said, “The initiative is to strengthen the level of education of our constituency and above, for no community will excel without education. I call on the beneficiaries to work hard and serve as the ambassadors of the community.

“The beneficiaries were carefully selected from each of the 11 wards of the constituency, most of whom are from the less privileged,” he added.
