A lawmaker in Nasarawa State, representing Labaran Shafa (Toto/Gadabuke) Constituency, has urged traditional rulers to lead their subjects with fear of God.
Shafa gave the advice on Monday when he paid a courtesy visit to the new Village Head of Enyezi, Abdulkareem Musa, in Toto Local Government Area of the state.
He said the call was necessary for peace and the overall development of the community and the state in general.
Shafa, who is also the chairman, state House of Assembly Committee on Health, urged residents of the community to support their new village head to enable him to succeed.
He congratulated the traditional ruler, saying “I want to urge you to carry all your subjects along while performing your duties in the interest of peace and for the overall development of this community, the state and country at large.
Responding, Musa appreciated the lawmaker for the visit, assuring him that he would live above board in the discharge of his duties. (NAN)
