Lead British school marks 10 years, celebrates alumni feat

Lead British International School, Abuja recently celebrated her 10 year anniversary with weeklong activities.

The activities included charity visits to the Internally Displaced Persons Camp, Durumi, art exhibition, football matches, Walkathon and a carnival as well as unveiling the hall of fame for alumni who bagged first class honours degrees from universities in the UK.

The three academic sections of the school – the Early Years, Primary and Secondary sections – of the school had special assemblies during the week to mark their 10 years of imparting knowledge to students of the school. 

The art exhibition showcased the  art works done by students of the school and proceeds realised from the sale of the art exhibition was given to charity. 

The grand finale was a homecoming event to celebrate the school and her alumni for their feat and to inspire the students to strive to achieve similar feats. 

The founder of the school,  Oluwole Oke, expressed delight over the milestone achievements recorded by the school in a decade.
