In a concerted effort to address the urgent security challenges plaguing the region, prominent leaders from Kwara State gathered for a strategic meeting at the African Import Bank Conference Hall in Abuja.

This important assembly brought together governors, lawmakers, security personnel, and various stakeholders, creating a robust platform for dialogue and collaboration.

During the meeting, participants engaged in in-depth discussions aimed at formulating effective strategies to counteract the rising insecurity affecting their communities. The executive governor took the opportunity to present a comprehensive overview of his administration’s efforts and achievements in enhancing security, highlighting key initiatives and their impact on public safety.

This exchange of insights not only fostered transparency but also encouraged collective problem-solving among officials, reinforcing their commitment to a safer region for all residents. The collaborative atmosphere underscored the importance of unity and strategic planning in overcoming the challenges at hand.

Attendees included notable figures such as Kwara State’s Executive Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Senator Saliu Mustapha, and other senior government representatives.

The atmosphere facilitated constructive dialogue, fostering the exchange of ideas and collaboration to enhance the political landscape in Kwara in preparation for the President’s reelection.

The Executive Secretary of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation, Otunba Biodun Ajiboye, emphasised the importance of this gathering as a unique opportunity for Kwara leaders to connect and collaborate for the betterment of the state.

He highlighted the commitment of the political stakeholders to support the President and to lay the groundwork for his reelection.

Ajiboye explained that there is a constant need for the political heads of Kwara to constantly familiarise themselves with achieving a common goal which is the overall development of the state.

“Every elected and appointed leader here is dedicated to supporting the President and ensuring that we work together to bring the benefits of democracy to the people of Kwara,” he said.

Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central, described the event as a family gathering for the All Progressives Congress (APC), focusing on mutual appreciation and aspirations for growth within the state.

He noted that the renewed hope agenda of the president has achieved a remarkable feat in Kwara and the need for its extension is non-negotiable.

“This meeting serves to recognise the President’s developmental efforts and to reinforce our commitment to his renewed hope agenda. Such collaborative efforts are essential for fostering a secure, prosperous, and united Kwara,” he stated.
