With the growing concerns about parental control mechanisms and the need to provide viewers with more exciting user experience, Abuja-based multi-media company, Legend, has announced the introduction of premium entertainment to homes with a movie-theatre picture quality, unlimited internet and high-definition voice calls.
The TV services which come with a library of TV series, movies and music videos on demand which means viewers can watch them anytime on their own schedule, also allows parents keep close watch over programs their children are exposed to, while enjoying unlimited TV access.
Chief Executive Officer, Bruce Ayonote, said the services are powered by fibre optic technology and come under one bouquet comprising premium HD TV content, crystal clear call services and home automation and security.
Aisha Abdulaziz, Head of Customer Service said: “The services are such that parents can create age specific profiles with passwords for their children depending on their ages.”
She said: “If you look into entertainment, unlimited internet access is the best entertainment you can get. You can sign up to Netflix and watch unlimited movies all day long. When you have all this, you can say your imagination is your limit. We offer 4mbps or 8 mbps for homes.”
Even where families enjoy unlimited video streams in HD as well as different streaming options, including on demand, mobile TV, and catch-up TV, Abdulaziz said: “Parents can profile programmes for each of their children according to their ages and also have them passworded.”
On how this service rivals other such providers already established in the market she said: We offer a triple pay package. We offer it not only with TV services but with unlimited internet and voice services.
“Others may have different contents than we do but there are some that we might share. There is a lot of content out there in the world; we can’t have all of them. With the internet I don’t think we have fully tapped into what we can do with it.”
