Let votes count in Osun election

The Osun election will go a long way to show-case the preparedness of  INEC’s determined efforts to assure Nigerians and the entire world of ensuring free, fair and credible polls next year.
The last election that took place at Ekiti State was applauded by various stakeholders and the international community.
We hope as INEC faces the Herculean task of conducting another election in Osun State, much is expected from the electoral body to leave up to the expectations of all and sundry.
Nigerians want all votes to count without any form of malpractice and rigging, hence the desire of Nigerians to choose who to represent them in any elective position.
The great awareness that is associated with people of the southwest of voting the people who would govern them without succumbing to any form of intimidation and harassment from anyquarters should be respected and sustained.
The assurance by INEC chairman Prof. Attaheru Jega and President Goodluck Jonathan that the 2015 election would surprise the world should be seen as another turning-point in our electoral system.
We believe the election will inform the world that Nigeria is on the path of getting its elections right, thereby erasing any doubts in the minds of Nigerian and members of the international community.
