I know history will remember you as one of the governors in Nigeria whose achievement goes beyond the shores of Kano state but the whole country.
Among the prominent Indigenes of Kano State since its creation in 1967, you are among the few that have the state at heart as far as its progress and Development is concerned.
Since your return to power you have initiated policies for the Development of the state and its indigenes which many people not only in Kano but Nigeria as a whole are very proud of you.
Your ability to generate revenue for the state is a onerous task many state Governments want to achieve but the opportunities in Kano are many.
 Encouraging people to be self reliant has been applauded by many vis-à-vis your untiring effort to secure employment for the people. Sir without much ado I want to draw your attention to a very important issue bedevilling Kano state and its people. This is nothing but the quest for Government to own Hotels.
In Kano most of the Hotels are owned by private individuals, they manned this hotels to the detriment of the joy of our people. Apart from that, the exploitative tendencies of the private Hotel owners is one thing that is worrying many people in Kano.
There are many private Hotels that paid the state indigenes a token amount which hardly lasts for a month despite their accountable Demands and their commitments to their families as their bread winners. One thing disheartening is how these hotel owners quadruple the payment of salaries and other emoluments to their kinsmen more than the indigenes of the state, even if their duties is less than that of the state indigenes.
In view of the above reasons and your ability to set the pace for revenue generation in Kano state as you are always clamouring for and for the state to stand on its feet, and to provide employment to the teeming youth in the state, The need for Kano State Government to Establish its own Hotels as obtained in the past became necessary.
I wrote this letter to you sir as a concerned citizen of the state and someone who has confidence in your ability to deliver Good Governance to the people and on your Magic achievement in the last two and half years,
