First, let me congratulate you on your well deserved appointment.

Being a minister from Katagum Local Government Area of Bauchi State you should bear in mind that your attention is needed in your ward, local government and at the state level, politically and economically. Politically, you’re occupying a political office, for you need to give your contribution towards strengthening the affairs of the party policies at the grassroots up to the national level.

Economically, Bauchi State is in need of investors, most especially Katagum zone, which has no single functioning industry. Zaki Flour Mills, the only one that was initiated by late Garba Muhammad Gadi, a former Deputy Governor of Bauchi State, which foundation President Muhammadu Buhari laid when he was Military Head of State, was closed down due to neglect, by the state government during Ahmad Mu’azu’s tenure, and sold.

Katagum zone needs your attention as a mother, Please try and bring investors through your ministry. l am also appealing to you to revive the long awaited milk factory, which was proposed about thirty years ago for Katagum Local Government Area.

As a mother and educationist, I will like you to support women most especially the younger ones. You need to empower women by giving them the necessary support. For example, give them machines that will help them to produce groundnut oil which most of the local women are into.

I plead with you to give scholarship to young girls that are willing to read medicine, most especially gynecology which is very rare in our society. This will encourage them to read. Also needed to be revived, are Misau Ceramics Company, and the tomato factory in Jama’are where they produce abundant tomatoes. The Yankari Water Company should also be looked into because it is among the first few bottled water companies in Nigeria but it is now almost history.

Finally, since your resumption of office as minister you have not visited your state and local government. You need to get in touch with the people, because by reaching out to them you will understand their problems and proffer solutions to them.

The people of Katagum Local Government are eager to meet their mother,so you need to come. I pray Almighty Allah to help you in discharging your duties efficiently. Ameen.
