LI’ANI is a story of two troubles. A wealthy married man and life.

Life is often taken for granted and returns its favours in unexpected ways.

The film raises questions about life, how life bestows its blessings and how we choose to act when blessed. Can man just disown and own? 

The film is about a wealthy married man and his wife. The wife became pregnant when the man wasn’t ready for children and that became an issue between them. 

He pressured the wife to abort the baby but she refused because she fears Allah. He decided to sent her away disowning the child. 

They went to court and he swore an oath disowning the child and the court gave the woman custody of the child after some years, he was ready for children but  couldn’t have any. He sought out his disowned child.

That is the second trouble.  The question is would wife listen to him? And would the child accept him after being disowned by his father? Watcht out for Li’ani coming soon!
