Life is a battlefield, not playground – Cleric

Pastor Korede Komaiya

The Presiding Pastor of Masters Place International, Korede Komaiya, has described life as a battlefield marked by warfare rather than a playground meant for mere fun and ease, urging believers to recognise the spiritual dimensions behind daily struggles.

Komaiya made the remarks in a video message recently shared on social media, where he emphasised that challenges are inseparable from destiny.

“Never be surprised that you have battles; the greater your destiny, the greater your battles,” he said.

According to the cleric, “A life without battles is a dead life. Your battles show your importance and glory; they indicate your greatness.”

He further explained that small destinies attract small battles, while greater battles often precede greater glory, adding that “things are manipulated from the spirit realm to happen physically.”

Stressing the need for seriousness about one’s purpose, he warned: “If you joke with your destiny, you will end up a joke.”

Reflecting on his personal journey, transformation, and different stages of life, Komaiya concluded that no one can fulfil their destiny in grand style without the anointing.
