Lifemate Furniture Nigeria Limited has unveiled a new showroom at the Agodi area of Ibadan, Oyo State, with the promise to create more jobs for Nigerians.
Speaking during the grand opening in Ibadan, Regional Manager, Howard Gao described Lifemate as a one stop-shop for furniture products.
Gao said Lifemate as a key player in the furniture industry has not only contributed to the growth of Nigeria’s economy, but also it has created at least 3,000 jobs in the country.
“We are the largest furniture company in Nigeria. We have 3,000 employees, that means we offer a series of jobs. With another showroom, it means we are creating more jobs. As the company grows bigger, we create more and more jobs,” he told newsmen shortly after the official cutting of the tape to unveil the new showroom.

The Regional Manager said the company grows because the organization keeps focusing on the field of furniture, producing high quality and durable furniture products.
Also speaking, the Branch Manager, Agodi Branch Ibadan, Mrs Jolade Oshodi, explained that the new showroom is part of the company’s expansion strategy and to centralise all the branches in Ibadan.
Oshodi identified unique style, affordable pricing and durability as the selling point for the Lifemate furniture products.
She identified interior decorators, estate management, hotels and other stakeholders as the firm’s target audience.
One of the customers, Bola Alabi, a legal practitioner, said, “In the last six years, I have been a customer of Lifemate and I found their products to be very oaky and affordable.
“I do recommend to my friends that they can also get their furniture from Lifemate. My office, my home, I use their products. So far, so good, I enjoy their products.”
