Lifemate Furniture, one of Nigeria’s leading home and office furniture brands, has opened a new showroom in Lekki-Ajah, expanding its presence in Lagos and bringing its products closer to customers in the rapidly developing area.

Speaking at the launch, the Lekki Area Manager, Mr. Emeka Shao, said the new branch was established in response to the surge in infrastructure and housing developments in the axis.

“Since last year, we discovered new organizations and buildings springing up from this axis, such as the Ajah railway, Dangote facilities, Lekki Port and Lekki Trade Zone, as well as several real estate projects, hotels, schools and hospitals,” Shao said, adding, “Lifemate Furniture has been in Nigeria for 19 years, and many of our customers have been requesting that we open more showrooms closer to them.”

Also speaking, the showroom manager, Mrs. Merry Ikenwigwe, said the new branch was strategically opened to serve customers who previously had to visit the Sangotedo Shoprite showroom.

“Before now, most of our invoices came from people around Sangotedo because Ajah was far for them,” she explained, adding, “Now we are close to the people in this axis, and we believe the turnover will meet expectations.”

She added that Lifemate is known for fast delivery, durable products and competitive prices.

“Our products can last as long as they are well maintained, and the finishing is top notch,” she said.

“We also have fair, pocket-friendly prices. I’ve met customers who expected our prices to be high because of the look of the building, but they were surprised to see how affordable we are. Our materials are both locally and foreign-sourced,” she added.

Ikenwigwe noted that one of the unique features of the new showroom is its customization service. “We allow customers to bring their own designs. Whatever you have dreamt of, we can help you bring it to life,” she said.

A customer and interior designer, Mr. Agwu Kelvin, who attended the launch, praised the brand’s quality and craftsmanship.

“I’ve been buying sofas from Lifemate for three years now. Even my clients appreciate them,” he said. “The finishing, quality and durability are why I keep returning, and I’m really happy they’re now closer to me.”
