A three-day festival of film, live music, visual arts and literature, ‘Lights, Camera, Africa!’ Film Festival is ongoing in Lagos.
The event themed ‘Music Makes the People…’ which ends tomorrow, is a fusion of multiple creative genres targeted at screening the best of emerging, independent African cinema and to celebrate the musical voice of film whilst expressing love, sorrow, building bridges and ending wars.
According to a statement, the Festival, with partners including Jahman Anikulapo, Tunde Kelani and Shaibu Husseini, through its consistently bold representation of diverse African cinema, shares its sixth edition with a theme that is perhaps the most appropriate motifs for its native city – Lagos.
