Hajiya Maimuna Hassan, mother of late Hausa hip hop singer, Ameer Hassan popularly known as Lil Ameer said she never knew her son was that popular until his sudden death two weeks ago.
She stated this in view of various tributes, condolences and calls to the family by well-wishers and sympathizers following the death of the up-coming musician.
She expressed appreciation to all that stood by the family during their moment of grief praying God to reward everyone accordingly.
‘’Fans and friends of Ameer, thank you for standing by us during our moment of grief. We have received your condolences and prayers may God reward you accordingly. We have never thought that Ameer is this popular until this unfortunate but inevitable incident happened to him’’ she said.
She also admonished parents to give free-hand and support to their children to pursue their talents either in music or any field of vocation.
The young artiste died in an auto-crash on Thursday, September 14th in Kano.
