Liman now professor at Keffi varsity

Thje Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has appointed Dr Abdullahi Nuhu Liman as a Professor of Political Science and International Relations.
Born in November 1963, Liman attended Dunama Primary School, Lafia, and Government College, Pankshin, Plateau State, before proceeding to the University of Maiduguri, Borno State, University of Abuja and the prestigious University of Ghana, Legon-Accra, where he obtained his three degrees.
He has served as a lecturer in Mass Communication Department at the University of Maiduguri from 1989 to 1993. He also served as a political science don for 11 years at the University of Abuja, where he rose to become the head of department of political science and international relations.
He was also the programme co-ordinator and director of studies of the university’s Institute of Legislative Studies, and Deputy Director (Field Services) at the university’s Centre for Distance Learning (CDL).
Liman is now the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
In 2013, the Nasarawa State government appointed him as the chairman of its visitation panel to investigate the affairs of the College of Education, Akwanga.
Liman has also served as a consultant to the defunct Federal Directorate of Food, Roads and Rural Infrastructures (DFRRI) during the Babangida-led regime and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in 2015.
He is a member of the Nigerian Political Science Association (NPSA) and Nigerian Society of International Affairs (NSIA).
