Dr. Bulama stated that products of Science and Technology must be demand driven, adding there should be linkages on how they impact on the economy.
 He said closer collaboration with research institutes and the industries would lead to the commercialization of Research and Development products.
The minister spoke during a courtesy visit to Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, Nasarawa State, last week.
According to him, there was need for collective efforts to take Science, Technology and Innovation to the next level, stressing that “the new STI Policy signed by Mr. President is anchored on synergy between Research Institutes and Industries for the rapid development of the country. Dr. Bulama said that the aspiration of Mr. President to achieve the Vision 20:2020 through Science and Technology was apt.
The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, Dr. Shettima Abdulkadir Saidu solicited for the intervention of the Ministry of Science and Technology to ensure that the institution’s concept of incubation becomes a reality
