The National Alliance for Atiku and Okowa a group canvassing for the emergence of former vice president Atiku Abubakar as Nigeria’s Next president has condemned the attempt to link Alhaji Tukur Mamu the arrested ‘Bandit Negotiator’ as an allay to Atiku Abubakar as mischievous and evil.

The group in a press statement signed by the National Coordinator, Mr Inalegwu Adaje called those behind the act as cheap blackmailers and enemies of Nigeria.

Adaje expressed his dissapointment stating categorically that the said Tukur Mamu who happens to be a Kaduna based publisher was never at any time a business allay to Atiku Abubakar .

He said just like every Nigerian will want a picture with a very important personality so it was in the very case .

Snapping pictures with someone does not in anyway connote friendship or partnership.

Adaje called on Nigerians to ignore totally the mischievous and cheap propaganda.

“Our Campaign is going to be issue based and not on some cheap blackmail, Atiku Abubakar is competent , a man who promotes the rule of law and order can never turn out to become a law breaker”.

“Come 28th September when the campaign shall take off, all the noise and empty propaganda will be put to rest, Nigerians are now wiser and will not be decivied”.
