Rev. Ibrahim, who spoke during the funeral service of the wife of the House of Representatives member for AMAC/Bwari of the FCT, Mrs. Christiana Micah Jiba, described death as inevitable.
He admonished the congregation not to continue to live in sin as death could come at any time.
He, therefore, enjoined both Christians and non-Christians to shun evil deeds and be committed to the service of God and humanity.
Micah Jiba, husband of the deceased, said he had 26 years of marital bliss with his late wife and prayed God to grant her eternal glory.
The lawmaker added that his late wife contributed over 40 per cent to his political advancement and gave her whole life to the growth of women and youths through her various pet projects.
In their separate condolence messages, the Senator representing the FCT, Philip Aduda, and a former House of Representatives Member for AMAC/Bwari, Zaphaniah Bitrus Jisalo, described the deceased as a very good wife and an industrious woman who contributed immensely to the progress of her community and prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
