Lobi Stars maintained their unbeaten run in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with a convincing 2-0 win over visiting Abia Warriors in yesterday’s week 4 fixture played at the Lafia Township Stadium.
New signings, Amodu Liman and Danbani Alao scored a goal each in the 15th and 25th minute of the first half to hand Lobi Stars their second home win of the season.
After the losses suffered yesterday by the duo of Bendel Insurance and Sporting Lagos, the ‘Pride of Benue’ who are second on the table are now the only unbeaten side in the current season.
