Logistics firm unveils nationwide hub network

Omefreight Logistics Ltd has officially announced the launch of its nationwide logistics hub network, with Enugu State serving as the pilot location for the initiative. This strategic expansion marks a major step toward decentralizing logistics services in Nigeria and making both local and international shipping more accessible, efficient, and customer-friendly.

Speaking on the development, the Director of Operations (Nigeria), Matthew Aroh, stated that the newly introduced hubs are designed to eliminate the traditional need for customers to travel to the company’s head office in Lagos before initiating shipments.

“The hub system allows individuals and businesses to ship goods locally and internationally from the nearest Omefreight hub within their reach. This brings logistics services closer to the people and simplifies the process of sending and receiving goods anywhere in the world,” Aroh said.

He further emphasized that the hub model introduces a dynamic and interconnected logistics network where shipments can move through strategic stopover points. This system enables flexibility for recipients, allowing them to conveniently pick up their packages at designated locations along the transit route, as programmed within the company’s hub operational framework.

Omefreight Logistics Ltd provides a comprehensive range of services, including international freight forwarding, domestic freight services, supply-chain consulting, e-commerce logistics solutions, warehousing and distribution, customs clearance services, and other value-added logistics offerings.

The newly launched hubs are tailored to serve a broad range of users, including individuals, corporate organizations, logistics partners, as well as financial and legal service providers.

Through this innovation, customers can now seamlessly dispatch goods, parcels, and packages from the nearest Omefreight hub to recipients across the globe, ensuring speed, convenience, and reliability.

The Chief Executive Officer, Ifeanyi Omeh, has led the company’s strategic drive to deploy the hub network across Nigeria. Under his leadership, Omefreight is positioning its operations to address long-standing logistics challenges by bridging gaps in accessibility and connectivity.

According to the company, the hub initiative is not only a solution to current logistical bottlenecks but also a forward-looking infrastructure designed to support the growing demands of trade, commerce, and global connectivity as Omefreight continues to make moving goods simple and efficient.

With the rollout beginning in Enugu State, Omefreight Logistics Ltd plans to expand the hub network across other states in Nigeria, including intra-state operations, further reinforcing its commitment to innovation and excellence in logistics services.
