The petition, signed by the party’s National Chairman Alhaji A.A Salam and the secretary Barr Olukayode Ajulo appealed on the commission to urgently correct and rectify the mistake before next month’s elections.
The petition said Eze emerged winner of the party’s primaries conducted on December 9, 2014 and was duly nominated and presented INEC as the senatorial candidate for Ebonyi South.
“However, we noticed that on the published and released candidates’ lists by your commission, the name of one Darlington Onuabuchi Okereke was published instead of Samuel Ogbu Eze the duly nominated candidate.
We therefore, pray that urgent and accurate correction should be made and step taken to rectify this” it said.
