This was stated by the President of MACOSA, Sylnavus Malau as part of the achievements of the executive while in office.
Speaking at the inauguration of newly elected exco members, the president said he had promised to reposition the association and turn around its fortunes, while consolidating on his predecessors’ achievements and that was what he did.
He said the constituted MACOSA Working Committee worked in synergy with the Exco members to make the donations to enhance lecture delivery and to aid in resuscitating of the Departmental Training Newspaper, NSUK Campus Watch as his legacies.
Malua who most students described as gentle and kind-hearted identified some of his key achievements outside the donated items to include organizing an elaborate orientation ceremony for new students and the customizing of dress-code amongst others.
The Head of Department Dr. Tonnie Iredia, while addressing the students noted that the effort of the MACOSA Executives will contribute towards taking the department to greater heights.
He however expressed joy, saying with such positive developments in the Department, Mass Communication department would beat the standard set by Law Faculty of the institution with excellence.
